Terms of Sale

1. General Information

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") apply to all purchases made through Inara Hat Co. ("we", "us", "our") website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Orders and Acceptance

  • Order Process: Orders can be placed via our Shopify website. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order, but confirms that we have received it.
  • Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion. Acceptance of your order will occur when we send you a dispatch confirmation email.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes for orders within Canada. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and PayPal. Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
  • Payment Security: We use secure payment gateways to process your payment information. Your payment details are not stored on our servers.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping Locations: Currently, we only ship within Canada. We are working towards offering international shipping in the near future.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on delivery address and package weight.
  • Order Preparation: Each product is handmade, which may result in preparation times of 15 to 20 business days.
  • Delivery Times: Delivery typically takes 3 to 7 business days after order preparation. Delivery times may vary based on your location.
  • Responsibility: Once your order is with the shipping company, we are not responsible for any loss or damage during transit. Customers must file claims directly with the shipping company for any issues.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Return Policy: Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. All sales are final.
  • Exceptions: In the rare event that you receive a defective item, please contact us at shinebright@inarahatco.com or 1-431-335-9247 within 14 days of receiving your order to discuss a possible resolution.

6. Customs and Duties

  • International Orders: For future international shipments, customers will be responsible for paying any applicable taxes, duties, and customs fees in their respective countries. These charges are not included in our prices and must be paid upon delivery.
  • Incoterms: Our shipping terms for international orders will be Delivered at Place (DAP), also known as Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU).

7. Product Descriptions

  • Accuracy: We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products. However, due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations may occur.
  • Errors: In the event of an error in product description or pricing, we reserve the right to correct the error and contact you for further instructions or cancel your order.

8. Warranty and Liability

  • Warranty: We guarantee that our products are free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of delivery. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.
  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Manitoba, Canada. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Manitoba for any disputes arising from or related to these Terms.
