1. General Information

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") apply to all purchases made through Inara Hat Co. ("we", "us", "our") website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Orders and Acceptance

  • Order Process: Orders can be placed via our Shopify website. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order but confirms that we have received it.

  • Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion. Acceptance of your order occurs when we send you a dispatch confirmation email.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) for Canadian customers. For international markets, prices are displayed in the relevant local currency (e.g., USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, NZD). Prices include applicable taxes for Canadian orders only and are subject to change without notice.

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and PayPal. Payment must be made in full before dispatch.

  • Payment Security: We use secure payment gateways to process your payment information. Your payment details are not stored on our servers.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping Locations: We currently ship to Canada, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. We may expand shipping to additional countries in the future.

  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on delivery address, package weight, and selected shipping method.

  • Order Preparation: Each product is handmade, which may result in preparation times of 15 to 20 business days.

  • Delivery Times: Delivery times vary depending on your location and shipping method. Within Canada, delivery typically takes 3 to 7 business days after preparation. International delivery may take longer.

  • Responsibility: Once your order is with the shipping company, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, or delays during transit. Customers must file claims directly with the shipping company.

  • Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive tracking information via email.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Policy: Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. All sales are final.

  • Exceptions: In the rare event you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us at shinebright@inarahatco.com or 1-431-335-9247 within 14 days of delivery to discuss a possible resolution. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

6. Customs and Duties

  • International Orders: Customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and fees in their country. These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping costs and must be paid upon delivery.

  • Incoterms: International shipments are shipped Delivered at Place (DAP), also known as Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Customers are responsible for all import costs.

  • Refused Packages: Packages refused due to unpaid customs fees cannot be refunded.

7. Product Descriptions

  • Accuracy: We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products. Due to the handmade nature of our items, slight variations may occur.

  • Errors: In the event of an error in product description or pricing, we reserve the right to correct the error, contact you for further instructions, or cancel your order.

8. Warranty and Liability

  • Warranty: Our products are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of delivery. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.

  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the purchase priceof the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Manitoba, Canada. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Manitoba for any disputes arising from or related to these Terms.
